Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, Aladdin Sane Halsey, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power The Strokes, Is This It Aladdin Sane is never afraid of itself, somehow completely off-the-wall and classically structured at the same time. Is This It is just the most fun to listen to. No skips. If I Can't have Love, I Want Power surprises me every time. Tell us why you chose this song. “You're Such a Human Being” This is perhaps the first song I wrote that terrified me. It's about reflecting on my experiences as a kid in the Troubled Teen Industry, where I was severely abused. Getting so honest was a challenge that changed me as a songwriter.
