American pianist Sarah Cahill performs both classical and modern composed music across the U.S. Various avant-garde composers have dedicated piano works to her, including Larry Polansky's "Casten Variation" (1994), "Blue" Gene Tyranny's "Spirit" (1996) and John Adams' 1977 work "China Gates."
