About Sara Zamboni Music

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Although music didn’t run in my family, it was always in the air. My mother filled our home with RAI Radio 3 — the Italian channel for classical music, literature, and culture — or played cassette tapes, LPs, and CDs that crossed multiple genres. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? André de Ridder, Daniel Hope, Konzerthaus Kammerorchester Berlin, Max Richter, Recomposed By Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons Ibrahim Maalouf, Diagnostic (Version remasterisée) The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (2017 Mix) These albums mark the passage from my student years to my life as a professional composer. Each one represents a different chapter, but they all share a sense of sonic playfulness — a curiosity for sound that continues to shape my work today. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ode a Cripto” Among my works, this track stands out for its unexpected journey, embraced by dance teachers and choreographers around the world for modern and contemporary classes. I once performed to it myself when our teacher chose it for our dance presentation. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After completing my first Master’s degree in Classical Piano at the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory in Brescia, Italy, I went on to earn a second in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, The Netherlands. I went from performer to creator. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to create a concept album with a vocal artist. Recording a solo piano album, performed by myself, would also be a beautiful way to share the connection I’ve had with this instrument for nearly thirty years...
