In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Seeing AC/DC's Thunderstruck on MTV (music show) for the very first time. At the age of 13 in the 1990s this presented me with extreme images of aggression and violence, something I had not witnessed before. It was both shocking and mesmerizing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Death, Symbolic Guns N' Roses, Appetite for Destruction Lorin Maazel, Wiener Philharmoniker, Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 & Schubert: Symphony No. 8 "Unfinished" Beethoven's 5th opened the world of classical music to me, Appetite for Destruction is so connected with the idol band of my youth and Symbolic is my entry into extreme metal. Tell us why you chose this song. “Seals” The song features neck damaging riffings, incredibly powerful shouting and high pitched "Priest"-like screaming. The chorus is uber-epic with it’s multilayered choir arrangement, the low growling voice and the wistful horn section and strings.
