In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember running back and forth between the piano and our CD player in the living room as a kid - hitting pause to try and work out Dave Brubeck on the piano, and then running back and hitting play again. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bonobo, Dial 'M' for Monkey Charles Mingus, Mingus Ah Um Bonus Track Version Mount Kimbie, Crooks & Lovers Each of these records left an indelible print on me at various phases when I was finding my feet in life and music. In many ways this music is what guided me across a bridge from piano playing to production and electronic music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nowhere to Stand (feat. Sid Sriram)” I'm a big fan of Sid's work - his energy and his delivery are as if channeled from another dimension- It was such a dream to work with his voice, and in many ways, I come back to this song and there are still things about it that surprise me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's less the iconic venues for me, and more the rehearsals-soundchecks-and collaborative moments that are super memorable! Pulling 11 people on stage with me for an India tour last year was really special. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Building a beautiful sounding studio close to a forest, with natural light and my wish-list of synthesizers!
