In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first time ever performing was in front of my family during our family Christmas talent show and I had everyone shook but at the same time enamored. Also at 10 yrs old in Kansas City at jazz camp I performed - "Summertime" by Ella Fitzgerald. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandy, Full Moon Musiq Soulchild, Luvanmusiq USHER, 8701 Brandy's full moon solidified my love for music. USHER's 8701 from start to finish I didn't know what he was singing about but it made me feel good like a R&B superhero. And Music Soulchild just floats every time and the vulnerability he shows. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dark Matter” I love this song because this song is based on my life dealing with depression and feeling lonely/misunderstood at times and how it was really hard to not allow myself to give up on life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I first moved to LA I got to perform and the R&B Legends show for the Grammys and a month later getting a call that I will be performing with Childish Gambino for Coachella. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are so many but I want to do a world tour and have my family come along for a few dates, do a song with Brandy and Tank. Lastly do a song for a movie.
