Sammy Brue

Citing Justin Townes Earle, John Moreland, Woody Guthrie, Nirvana, Lead Belly, and Bob Dylan as influences, Oregon-born, Utah-based Sammy Brue is an Americana and country-folk prodigy who released his debut LP, 2017's I Am Nice, at the age of 15. Brue continued to mature and refine his style on subsequent efforts, Crash Test Kid (2020) and The Journals (2026). The latter saw him working from unfinished lyrics, fragments, and song ideas by Justin Townes Earle, who died in 2020.
