In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My best friend and I wrote a song for our 5th grade teacher about how great she was, and I still remember it to this day! I feel like that was a really formative experience for me in terms of how I started using songwriting to express myself. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carly Pearce, 29: Written In Stone (Video Deluxe) Sabrina Carpenter, emails i can’t send fwd: Sara Bareilles, Little Voice I truly feel that these albums have some of the best songs ever written by some of the best artists. The lyrics, melodies, & authenticity of each of these artists' & their music is inspiring to me; each of them has influenced my music tremendously. Tell us why you chose this song. “I'm Moving On (But I Still Miss You)” I'm really proud of all of my songs & the vulnerability that I put into each, but this one is particularly special to me because it sounds the most "my genre" out of any of my songs - a true combination of pop, country, & singer/songwriter. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA with my dad and our friends was one of the most memorable & special moments of my career. My dad has helped foster my passion for music, so having him accompany me was such a special moment! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things! I want to play more shows at more venues, connect with more people (other artists & fans alike), & keep making music that helps me process my emotions & helps heal others who have been through the same or something similar.
