One of my earliest musical memories is watching my childhood piano teacher dance around the room while I played; I was only six and couldn’t believe how moving the music was—it made me realize how expressive playing could be. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cory Wong, Jules Buckley, Metropole Orkest, Starship Syncopation Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Oscar Peterson, Night Train I chose Starship Syncopation for its tight grooves and dense yet digestible melodies that have shaped my writing. Off the Wall is pure rhythm and hooks—I’ve borrowed that spirit for musical theatre. Night Train taught me restraint and elegance.
