About Sage Francis

After graduating from Dean College and the University of Rhode Island-Kingston, MC Sage Francis started the Sick Of series in 2000 with Still Sick...Urine Trouble, and continued with Sick of Waiting Tables (2001), Sick of Waging War, and Sickly Business (2004). Personal Journals (Anticon) was released in 2002, and he then signed to Epitaph, which issued A Healthy Distrust (2005). He worked with Mark Isham on the Pride and Glory soundtrack; two tracks from these sessions ended up on Human the Death Dance (2007). Francis is also one half of the Non-Prophets, who released a 1999 single and a 2004 full-length. ~ Marisa Brown
