About Ruinarte

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to see BBC's The Last Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. I must have been 5 or 6. The beautiful and intense sound of the orchestra just blew me away! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lucid” Lucid explores the fine margin between the everyday and madness. The extreme end of any emotion can tip you over, even elation. Madness is part of life, experience, exploration and creativity. I think lots of people can relate to this. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Here's a few that got me giddy. My first festival on the BBC intro stage in Cornwall, a grant to go to NYC to learn about music therapy, my first sync placement with Nickolodeon, playing at BBC introducing's live lounge, getting arts council funding! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to constantly grow and develop. I'm a bite-sized chunker so my goals for the next two years are to get some of my music out into the world of sync licensing and I'd like to get a classical opera performed that I completed in lockdown.
