In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My passion for music began when I had the task to write a rap over Slim and Yung Joc's "So Fly" instrumental during a music class. I continued to explore my musical capabilities by joining the Soul Tigers Marching Band in Brooklyn, New York. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lil Mama, VYP - Voice of the Young People Nicki Minaj, Pink Friday (Deluxe Version) Deluxe Edition TLC, FanMail VYP was the first album that I ever purchased and it ignited my passion for creating music. Pink Friday made me feel confident, loud and accepted. TLC's Fanmail album and aesthetic taught me how to market an album's sound to create a full experience. Tell us why you chose this song. “Summer Vibe” Summer Vibe is special because it was written during quarantine in 2020 and a summer vibe is something I and the world craved during that time. This song will always remind me to enjoy the summer's gifts once the temperatures rise because time flies. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2017 Sky Katz from Disney Channel's "Raven's Home" brought me on stage during her MTV Summer in the City performance to rap my remix of the iconic "That's So Raven" theme song. It was a totally unexpected blessing for share her platform with me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? For my influences to see "Royal Tee" and feel incredible that their contributions to music impacted my commitment to expressing my art.
