In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad was also a DJ and music lover so, some of my earliest memories were raiding his record collection (which I was forbidden to do) anytime I could get away with it. Those early experiences fed my love for all genres of music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, Thriller Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain Soundtrack from the Motion Picture Run-DMC, Raising Hell My first is Thriller by Michael Jackson. To be frank: This album changed EVERYTHING for me. This album was an absolute experience as a kid in the 80s. Purple Rain by Prince. Nuff said. Last, Raising Hell By RUN DMC - Life -shifting record for me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Episode” This record will always hold a special place for me is not only wholly written & co-produced by me but it it is also the first project on my new boutique label, Def Alien Recordings. It marks the entry into the next phase of my journey in music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? To go from being a bedroom DJ who only wanted to be able to play basement or backyard parties in my youth to going on to tour the world with recording artists and on my own merit has been the absolute greatest. I am thankful for what music has done. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absoultely...and, I am in the process of completing this goal now: recording and releasing my own full-length album project. I cannot wait to share what I have been working on the last few years with the world.
