Roddy Hart

About Roddy Hart

Scottish singer and songwriter Roddy Hart first appeared on the scene with his independent release, Home Tapes, in 2004. The collection, a selection from a series of demo recordings, was solid enough that Hart soon found himself on the radio, and opening for the legendary Kris Kristofferson on the latter's tour of the United Kingdom. A deal soon followed with Vertical, as well as shows all over the world. His debut album, Bookmarks, was released in the U.K. and the United States and featured guest spots from the aforementioned Kristofferson and Eddi Reader. He has also done some off-the-cuff recordings with alt-country luminary Ryan Adams. ~ Chris True
