Robin Kester

Making moody, mysterious music that merges elements of pop, indie electronica, and psychedelic rock, Robin Kester is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Rotterdam. She evoked comparisons to the likes of Portishead, Weyes Blood, and Julia Holter with her debut album, 2023's Honeycomb Shades. Kester returned in 2025 with the Ali Chant-produced Dark Sky Reserve, which again incorporated modular synths and orchestral instruments into her spacy art rock sound.
