About Robert Finley

Hailing from the town of Bernice, Louisiana, Robert Finley is an American singer/songwriter delivering traditional blues and soul music with elements of R&B and gospel. He released his debut solo record, Age Don't Mean a Thing, via Big Legal Mess in late 2016. Written entirely by Finley, the album was recorded in Memphis, Tennessee with Bruce Watson and featured the Memphis-based funk ensemble the Bo-Keys. Finley got to work on his sophomore effort with producer Dan Auerbach of blues-rock band the Black Keys. It saw release on Easy Eye Sound in 2017, and followed by international touring and a competing stint on America's Got Talent in 2019. In 2021, Finley issued the autobiographical, Auerbach-produced Sharecropper's Son. ~ Rob Wacey
