In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time hearing fusion music. I was a kid playing downstairs and came upstairs and saw my father watching an amazing guitarist just tearing up the instrument. Later as I developed, I found out it was fusion master Al Di Meola. Awesome moment! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucía, Friday Night in San Francisco Larry Carlton, The Very Best of Larry Carlton Van Halen, Van Halen Remastered Three of the most inspiring albums I have ever heard. Growing up as a musician I was amazed by these incredible players and masters of the instrument. I was very fortunate to see them all live in Toronto as well. Tell us why you chose this song. “Perseverance” This song embodies my musical career and quest to create music to bring joy to peoples live and move them forward everyday! (B.E.L.L.)Balance, Energy, Laughter and Love is my life mantra and it takes perseverance every day to strive to achieve these! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There have been so many. Performing on the Dave Koz cruise twice all over Europe, The Catalina Island Jazz festival, and Massey Hall In Toronto. Meeting George Benson and hanging out with Larry Carlton and Tommy Emanuel have all been super cool! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely, with so many items left to check off. Writing more music to move people and doing a world tour performing my music. Playing with a full orchestra, winning a Juno and Grammy. More jazz cruises performing with my awesome musician friends.
