About Rivers Cuomo

After 15 years as the frontman of the popular alt-rock band Weezer, singer/guitarist Rivers Cuomo finally released a collection of his home recordings, 2007’s ALONE. Drawing from various phases of Cuomo’s career, the compilation revealed the amiable performer’s more lo-fi and playful tendencies, and, most notably for Weezer fans, presented tracks recorded during the group’s 1997-2000 hiatus, as well as demo tunes intended for the shelved SONGS FROM THE BLACK HOLE album. Cuomo followed with a like-minded second installment of the ALONE series in ’08.
