About Ritviz

Ritviz is an independent Indian-pop musician, DJ, and record producer who fuses hip-hop and electronica with traditional sounds of the subcontinent.

∙ As a child, he learned Indian classical music from his parents while also absorbing Western pop-music videos—a cultural contrast that’s shaped his style.
∙ In 2016, Ritviz’s career got a boost when the popular Indian EDM artist Nucleya praised his remix of Nucleya’s track “Lights” on social media.
∙ His debut EP, 2016’s YUV, featured contributions from his mother and early mentor, Anvita Bharti, a classical pianist and music teacher.
∙ Ritviz rose to stardom in 2018, after his track “Udd Gaye” won a major alcohol brand’s party-anthem competition and became a huge hit.
∙ In 2020, he composed his first musical score—for the web miniseries Cabin Fever, a comedy about lockdown life that he coproduced and in which he briefly appeared.
