Rebel and a Basketcase

Los Angeles duo Rebel and a Basketcase is an '80s-style synth rock and '70s-style glam rock collaboration between singer/actress Evan Rachel Wood and singer/multi-instrumentalist Zach Villa. Formed in 2015, Rebel and a Basketcase came together after the couple met while performing as part of a John Hughes-themed cabaret event. Recognizing their shared chemistry, they began working on music and in 2016 released a three-song EP, which featured the single "Oh Yeah." In 2017, they returned with the single "Today." ~ Matt Collar
