About Rebecca Dru

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 3 years old, I got to sit on Maestra Sarah Caldwell's lap while she conducted the Boston Opera Company, every day during rehearsals. It had a profound affect on me...so much so that I really dreamt of being a conductor. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cara Luna Amica” Close your eyes and listen... can you feel the LOVE in my music... the collaboration with people I love and the soothing sounds I write. Everyone I create with, I love...and that's what goes into my music. This is a favorite of mine. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I loved singing at the Arkansas River Festival with Randy Travis and Kathy Mattea. I loved even more singing in Japan... But most of all..I loved working with children to bring music into their lives as an outlet to express themselves and to heal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My music is a means to healing yourself. I'm all about frequency and how it affects your body. You are your own laboratory and must experiment to see what resonates with yourself when listening to sound... everything I create is about divine LOVE.
