In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is my Dad singing me & my brother "Sweet Baby James" by James Taylor so that we would fall asleep. I honestly think that even at such a young age it made a huge impact on what kind of music I would gravitate toward later. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Knight, Chris Knight John Mayer, Continuum Zac Brown Band, Uncaged Continuum is a time machine for me, every time I listen I'm back in high school. It was the only CD I had for 2 years! Uncaged got me into country music & so moved that I quit my job to pursue it. Chris Knight is my favorite country album, trust me! My birth mother had me while she was in prison & made the hard decision to give me up for adoption 4 days after I was born. In this song, I tell the story of struggle, redemption, & how my story affected both of us.
