About Quincy

The biological son of Al B. Sure!, the godson of Quincy Jones, and the adopted son of Diddy, Quincy Brown is an actor and R&B artist. Born in New York City, Quincy moved around a lot as a child, including time spent in Georgia and California. The lack of geographic stability thwarted his aspiration to become a professional baseball player, but he was able to take to modeling and acting. An appearance on an episode of MTV's My Super Sweet 16 wasn't exactly a gig, though it provided him with some exposure. Within a few years, he took on some minor roles and started a side career as a recording artist. In 2015, he appeared in Dope beside the likes of Shameik Moore, Zoë Kravitz, and Tyga, as well as in Brotherly Love, for which he landed the lead. The same year, he released the pop-R&B singles "Friends First" (featuring French Montana) and "Exotic" (featuring G-Eazy). ~ Andy Kellman
