In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 8 years old my mom took me along to a Jane's Addiction show because my babysitter cancelled. Dinosaur Junior opened. I loved every second of it and on the way home I told my mom I was going to be a rock star when I grew up. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Interpol, Turn On the Bright Lights Soulwax, Nite Versions The Horrors, V I love Nite Versions for its boundless creativity and nasty thumping beats. V is effortlessly genre bending but still totally cohesive. Turn on the Bright Lights instantly transports me to walking alone on a cold New York night. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dying Sun” The chorus came to me out of nowhere late one night. I like that it leaves room for interpretation. It could mean that true love is selfless, or it could mean that love fades. It's one of my favorite things to play live right now. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I did a residency in July of 2022 in a small club in LA for the release of the first Possible Oceans record. It was such an incredible feeling to finally share all the music I had been working on for years during the pandemic with a live audience. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I can't wait to tour with this project and have my sights set on taking the live show to other countries soon. I dream of playing big festivals like Glastonbury and Corona Capital. I also want to do more production work for other artists.
