About Polyrock
The New York-based new wave band Polyrock formed in the late '70s with a lineup including vocalist Catherine Oblasney, guitarists Billy Robertson and Tommy Robertson, drummer Joseph Yannece, and keyboard player Lenny Aaron. The group, which was influenced by the minimalism of Philip Glass, signed with RCA by 1980 and delivered their eponymous debut album that same year. Both the debut and sophomore album, 1981's Changing Hearts, featured appearances by Glass. Polyrock broke up by 1982, and ROIR released the retrospective No Love Lost in 1986. ~ John Bush
