In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father was a gospel artist and I grew up on his tour bus. The first time I sang in front of a crowd, I was four years old. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Harry Nilsson, Nilsson Schmilsson Prince, Dirty Mind The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band What can I say? Sgt. Pepper not only changed popular music but it blew my mind when I heard it as a kid. Same goes for Nilsson Schmilsson and Prince's Dirty Mind. Great pop music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Movin’ On (Without You) [feat. Miho Hatori]” This is one of my earliest written songs and I had the privilege of working with Miho Hatori on it when I made my first album. It reminds me of being young and my intro into the music world. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had the privilege of working with Brian Ray (who is in Paul McCartney's band) while recording my Royal Band album. Brian's an amazing artist and I'll never forget those sessions at the now closed Hollywood Sound Recorders. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've toured the world, heard my songs on the radio and on TV, and I've worked with some of the best musicians in the world. But, working with McCartney on a song takes the cake.
