In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music was always central to family for both of us, from as early as we can remember. Family gatherings often ended up with lots of people singing and playing various instruments together, and that sparked a love and joy that keep going to this day. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lonely Work” This song will always be special to us because it was the first one we ever released as Peridot after playing in various other groups together. In a lot of ways, it established what the DNA of our sound would be. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of our career was writing "Next To You," the first track on Little Big Town's GRAMMY-nominated album Nightfall. Hearing our musical sound brought to life by such a legendary artist was truly magical.
