About Peg Parnevik

A Swedish/American pop singer, Peg Parnevik makes light, dance-oriented pop. After coming to fame with her family in the reality TV show The Parneviks, she charted in Sweden with the 2016 single "Ain't No Saint." Born Ida Josefin Peg Parnevik in Stockholm in 1995, Parnevik grew up in Jupiter, Florida, the daughter of professional golfer Jesper Parnevik and his wife, Mia Parnevik. Her grandfather is also Swedish impersonator Bosse Parnevik. After high school, she spent a year at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, before briefly enrolling at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. In 2015, she came to the public's attention starring with her family in the reality TV show The Parneviks. A year later, she signed to Sony Music Sweden and issued her debut single, "Ain't No Saint," which hit number two on the Swedish singles chart. A second single, "We Are (Ziggy & Carola)," also charted in the Top 40 in Sweden in 2016. The Don't Tell Ma EP arrived in 2017. She returned with the single "Loafers" in 2018," followed by "Goodbye Boy" in 2019. ~ Matt Collar
