About Paul M. Grove

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being fascinated by the sounds from "Moog, the Electric Eclectics of Dick Hymen"; this is one of the early records that brought synthesizers into my sphere. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? King Crimson, Larks' Tongues In Aspic (Expanded Edition) Yes, 90125 (Deluxe Edition) Yes, Fragile An almost perfect album, Fragile is a great example of the heyday of Progressive Rock in the 1970's. Then into the 80's with another perfect record, 90125! And then the genre expanded to new heights with King Crimson's Lark's Tongues. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Admiring My Father” A celebration of my father, Roy Grove, who is the single biggest influence on my music. I just wish he had lived long enough to hear it! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing my music for the first time on a TV show. Insufferable show, but happy to have my music there! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to hear a real orchestra perform one of my orchestral pieces.
