PANTyRAID's Josh Mayer (Ooah from Glitch Mob) and Martin Folb (Martyparty) formed their EDM duo in 2008, taking influences from Ibiza, French house, dubstep, and hyphy hip-hop. The West Coast producers teamed up with the purpose of making dance songs that paid attention to song structure rather than simple four-on-the-floor beats. PANTyRAID's 2009 debut, The Sauce, found them succeeding in their mission, and Glitch Mob's Glass Air label released their complex follow-up, Pillowtalk, in 2013. The same label also issued 2016's Afterglow, which charted high in Billboard's Top Electronic Albums, thanks in part to the singles "Wanting Moves" and "6 AM."
