In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 12, Common released "The People", which changed my life. I lived Rhode Island at the time, but my Grandparents lived in Chicago, and the visuals, cadence, and wordplay ignited my love for the city, which I would move to a year later.
