In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 5 years old, sitting on the stairs with my new one-octave keyboard. At first I tried playing songs I already knew, but I quickly discovered I could just create my own songs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aho Ssan, Simulacrum Charli xcx, how i'm feeling now Sigur Rós, Valtari Valtari is one of the few albums I can listen to with a headache. It can heal my body and soul. Simulacrum bends and degrades the soundwaves to create incredibly interesting textures. "how i'm feeling now" summarises my 2020. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tólfta (Fyrir Ömmu)” It was my grandma who pushed me to publish my songs. A few days before she died, I made this improvisation on the piano, thinking of her in the hospital. She teared up listening to it and asked me to play it again.
