In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around 4th grade I found Nirvana's greatest hits on CD in the dirt. Track 6 was Come As You Are and it'd been played so many times that there was a visible ring where the CD was worn out, but you could still play it. It was my first favorite song. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Roxy Music, Avalon The National, Trouble Will Find Me The War on Drugs, Lost In the Dream Roxy Music's avalon -- think I first heard "More Than This" in a Duane Reade or something but it felt like I was hearing a radio signal from some far away place I've always longed for. The feeling was less "woah who is this!" and more of "FINALLY" Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Colors and Shapes” I made this all on a laptop in my bed stuy bedroom... classic origin story... but it was the first time I made something that got some solid attention and playlist traffic. Big confidence boost! It's still my #1 streamed song What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting onto my first algorithmic playlist! It was a small win, but it helped my music be heard all around the world, even though the overall stream counts weren't super high. Now I pray nightly to the benevolent algorithm gods. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I need to channel my energy and focus into a full LP one of these days! I really really need to do that..
