In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We had a wooden music chest in the sun room and a piano in the computer room. Mom had an old, red fender in a closet. I'd play the recorded, the triangle, shakers, never got the hang of castanets, but I just loved playing it all. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Butterfly Dreaming” It's the song I've always wanted to write. It's got soul, groove, lyrical depth. And it only took 15 minutes to make + time refining. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My senior year at UNC, friends asked if I'd be down to do a talent show and I said I was game. Turns out it was a pageant. The talent portion I did a medley of Drake's 'Girls Love Beyonce' and Beyonce's 'Say My Name' and people sang along. Surreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To sing an original song of mine with a full audience.
