In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A brown fisher-price cassette player went with me everywhere. My dad made tapes of music that I could listen to while playing in the yard. My favorite cassette was a compilation of Dr. Seuss stories and Neil Young. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daniel Lanois, Goodbye to Language Linda Perhacs, Parallelograms Phoebe Bridgers, Stranger in the Alps I love the fearlessness of experimentation in all three albums. Also, lyrically, they are strong examples of emotionally charged topics, dealt with beautifully. To me, they are the pinnacle of artistry and what I strive to achieve. Tell us why you chose this song. “Petrichor” "Petrichor" is the soundtrack of growing up and visiting my grandfather every weekend. He was always making something in his shop, and always excited to share it. Covid took him, and I'll never forget the smell of rain on the day he passed.
