In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up playing violin and listening to jazz/soul/pop music in my mother's dance studio and my dad's car, I ventured out into songwriting by teaching myself the guitar. I stayed up listening to Adele and Aretha, teaching myself to write and sing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Adele, 21 George Michael, Older Sade, Love Deluxe No other artists have continued to shape my sound like Adele, Sade and George Michael.
