Tell us why you chose this song. “there for you” I didn’t really see myself in my music until this song. There’s no pop beat behind it covering the sadness, it’s just me at my core. My New Orleans roots are there in the vocal, my true feelings in the lyrics. It’s special because it’s real to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being in the Out Magazine Top 100 issue was really insane to me. The most important magazine to me, that had meant so much to me as a young queer person, and all of sudden there I am in it talking about my new music. It was wild.
