About National Security Band

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The most striking musical memory was seeing Pink Floyd live in Cleveland in 1994 at the old Municipal stadium. David's intro for Sorrow melted my mind and was the reason that I picked up playing guitar. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin (Remastered) TOOL, Fear Inoculum The Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream Each of these albums identify with certain elements in our band such as how we tell a story, enter into a solo, or generally approach music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Scourge” The Scourge was the catalyst behind our second album- Biomimicry. While writing this album, we saw the changes in society and predicted the 2020 pandemic well before it swept through the world and changed everyone's lives. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The creation of Critical Sound Theory is the pinnacle of our music career. This album features an all-around elevated musical stylines which was allowed due to the addition of bass into our mix. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing the festival circuit is something we have always wanted to do. National Security Band would like to expand our reach into a wider audience range.
