In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember beaming like the happiest 7-year-old girl in the world when the neighbor pushed into our living room the heavy wooden German WW2 piano. My dream of having a piano at home came true and for years I spent hours every day playing that piano. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? India.Arie, Acoustic Soul Lauryn Hill, MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill I believe Lauryn Hill's Album was groundbreaking in Neo Soul and music in general. I have been listening to this album countless times over the years and always come back to it. Her acoustic album and India Arie's are also beautiful and timeless. Tell us why you chose this song. “No One” This song sounds like a regular love song but interestingly evolved out of realizing that amidst constant change there is and always has been the never changing consistency of divine love. It's a love song to the universe, God, my guiding light. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Last summer I fully produced one of my songs "Let's Dance" and it such a carefree song that makes me happy. I loved writing the beat! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is so much left on my bucket list! I have a million dreams of how my music will inspire, heal, encourage, bring hope and joy to people. My hope is that most and foremost my songs will bring hope and new smile to listeners all over the globe.
