In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Raised in a pastoral setting amidst artists on my mother's side and the rich South American heritage of Peru my father’s side, listening to Symphonies, Musicals, South American music, Tangos, and Peruvian waltzes all contributed to my love of music What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bill Evans Trio, Portrait In Jazz (Remastered) Remastered Davide Alogna, Marco Bonfanti, Stefano Bonfanti, Davide Alogna & Duo Bonfanti (Violino e due chitarre) Eugene Ormandy, New York Philharmonic, Vladimir Horowitz, Rachmaniñov: Piaño Concerto No. 3 I personally know Davide Alogna, violinist who performed on my latest release, Nani Lahaina~ Rhapsody for Violin and Orchestra and he is a brilliant violinist. . I love Bill Evans and of course Rhachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3 is a favorite. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Aloha 'oe a Bossa Nova (Arr. for Jazz Ensemble Horns) [Live]” This is a meaningful song because I lived in Hawaii and it is an arrangement of Aloha 'Oe by Queen Liliuokalani, the last Queen of Hawaii that wrote the original music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The recording session in London last year, 2024, with the London Symphony Orchestra and Davide Alogne violinist performing on a Stradivarius Violin. Nani Lahaina~ Rhapsody for Violin and Orchestra appears on the album Symphonic Stradivarius. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Writing more symphonic music, learning more about music, developing as an artist and composer
