In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can remember as a child hearing my Uncle Elmore sing and play his guitar to "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King in his den. I was so inspired and at the moment I knew I wanted to be a musician when I grew up. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chaka Khan, Rufus, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun Funkadelic, Funkadelic I am an extreme Funk Fan. Spanning from Nile Rogers to Erykah Badu, I love a great Funk groove to any song. A Vibe and it always put me in a great mood. Not to mention it motivates you to be your best self. FUNK is in my DNA. What makes this song so is that signifies a special connection and love I receive everyday from my love. So this song embodies life with the love of my life. Amongst other songs on the album, this one was a freestyle but emotionally sensual it was. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of my career was performing my music back home in New Orleans. The love I received was like no other which encouraged to perform even more. This is where I need to be. Music is brings everyone together regardless. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of Course. Some are to collaborate with Lenny Kravitz,Tweet, Big Freedia &Tank and the Bangas. I would also love to make a record with Patti LaBelle and Chaka Khan before they leave this earth. I also want to tour overseas with my own band and staff.
