In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A fishtank light flickering blue, oversized headphones swallowing my head, and a song that opened like a cathedral door. Time stretched; I thought I could hear my own blood syncing with the bassline. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cocteau Twins, Heaven Or Las Vegas (Remastered) Electric Youth, Innerworld Future, DS2 (Deluxe) I love music that lets me feel things I can't quite put into words. It reminds me that beauty can be ghostly, toxic, wistful, or numb, and that all of those contradictions are their own kind of luxury. Tell us why you chose this song. “Don't Call (Just Think of Me)” Nada UV started as a cover band inspired by This Mortal Coil, and we didn't begin to write our own songs until later. This is the first song I wrote and also loved. It's almost too personal. Fearful-avoidants have feelings, too, y'know. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Memories are stories we tell ourselves to support whatever our current narrative is. In other words: It depends! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to play inside a planetarium where the stars are slightly wrong. I want to release an album that can only be heard underwater. I want Nada UV banned in at least one country — not for obscenity, but for “atmospheric destabilization.”
