Nachtmystium

Nachtmystium were arguably one of the hardest working bands in the American black metal community. Until their disbandment in 2014, they produced at least one release each year -- be it an EP or a live or full-length studio album. The band was home to members of Nile, Goatwhore, Dimmu Borgir, Usurper, Vital Remains, Forest of Impaled, Novembers Doom, and many other notable extreme metal musicians. Over time, Nachtmystium's sound evolved from raw, traditional black metal to experimental, neo-progressive dark metal -- all while retaining its esoteric, malevolent edge. ~ Mark Morton
