In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is listening to my dad play the piano, teaching me the difference between bass and treble clef as I started to learn the trumpet. As a family we listened to everything from The Beatles to Sondheim to Miles Davis. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? I recorded it a month later while deeply heartbroken. I was originally going to do all the background vocals myself, but ended up leaning on the talents of 13 of my closest friends, right when I needed them <3 What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My absolute favorite thing in the world is singing with a big band - full stop. The first winter after I moved to NYC, I got to sing 'New York, New York' at midnight as the ball dropped, right in the heart of Manhattan. "If you can make it there..." Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Imagine I'm like, "no I'm good :)" - yes, of course. I add about 17 items to my bucket list every day. One of them would be to film a full-on dance-heavy music video- challenge myself to REALLY lean in to some fierce choreography!!
