Morgan

Searching for like-minded musicians to play her songs, singer and pianist Carolina de Juan (aka Nina) recruited guitarist Paco López and drummer Ekain Elorza. Adopting the name Morgan, the trio got together in Madrid in early 2010 and were soon augmented by bassist Alejandro Ovejero and keyboardist David Schulthess. Playing almost exclusively pop/soul material in English in the vein of Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse, the band began to make waves in the local independent circuit with its concerts and festival appearances, not to mention a few choice collaborations with Quique González. Morgan released its debut album, North, in early 2016 to widespread critical acclaim.
