When I was 7 years old, my parents enrolled me at the National Music School in Maputo, Mozambique as an after school activity. Here I learnt to play the recorder, progressing to the clarinet and finally the saxophone. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hugh Masekela, Hugh Masekela: Greatest Hits Manu Dibango, The Very Best of Manu Dibango: Afro Soul Jazz from the Original Makossa Man Miles Davis, Kind of Blue These 3 men have had a great influence on my musical career. Manu Dibango and Hugh Masekela were mentors and both guided me as a young artist. Miles Davis is someone who's stage presence, style and attitude, I have always admired. Tell us why you chose this song. “Take Five” Recording this song and the rest of the M & M album with Manu Dibango in Paris in 2015 was a very special time for me. I had the opportunity to spend time with him in and out of the studio which was very special.
