About MisterWives

MisterWives is a New York City pop band with a penchant for danceable riffs and a willingness to bare their souls.

∙ The group formed in 2012, when lead singer Mandy Lee decided to put together an ’80s cover band for her birthday party.
∙ MisterWives’ 2014 debut EP, Reflections, cracked the Billboard 200, and one of its tracks, “Vagabond,” became the theme song for the teen drama series Finding Carter.
∙ In 2015, the band released their first full-length, Our Own House, which reached No. 7 on the Billboard Alternative Albums chart.
∙ While covering Hall & Oates’ classic “Out of Touch” for the web series Rediscovered in 2015, the band received a surprise studio visit from John Oates himself.
∙ After signing to punk/indie outpost Fueled By Ramen in 2019, MisterWives released their third LP, SUPERBLOOM, which documents the breakup of Lee and drummer Etienne Bowler.
