About MIRUD
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is singing traditional Balkan melodies in my grandmother’s living room in Kosovo. I didn’t know technique yet—I just felt a powerful connection. That moment showed me that music wasn’t just passion, it was home. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Adele, 21 Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill ROSALÍA, EL MAL QUERER My favorites are 21 by Adele for its raw honesty, El Mal Querer by Rosalía for its fearless fusion, and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill for its soul and truth. Each album shaped how I write, feel, and express emotion through music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dios Me Lo Quitó” “Dios Me Lo Quitó” is special to me because it came from a moment of release and clarity. The emotion, the power, and the truth in it helped me let go of someone who was hurting me. It’s a song of freedom, strength, and reclaiming my peace. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Festivali i Këngës three times and later at Viña del Mar were two unforgettable milestones. The energy of the crowds and sharing a stage with Joely Fisher reminded me why I love performing and connecting with people. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to see my music top global charts and win both Latin Grammys and Grammys. I also dream of collaborating with artists like Rosalía or FKA Twigs, whose unique styles inspire me. There’s still so much I want to create, explore, and share.
