Staring up at my ceiling fan, holding my red portable walkman with the three bright blue dots, I shuffled a few CD cases and sat up in bed as I picked one out to read the liner notes. As I held the booklet in my hands, I knew I'd be a musician, too. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anberlin, Cities Moxy The Band, Dream Feeling Pierce the Veil, Collide With the Sky In my opinion, respectfully, this is an insane question - I'll think of so many more later. However, these three are very important to me. They're high-salience, timeless, perfect listens front-to-back. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Black Coffee & Cherry Pop-Tarts” Before he died, I got all experimental and made this gem so I'll be able to revisit our early morning fishing trips for the rest of my life. Thanks, past me. I snuck the Tascam recorder onto the boat with us. Dad had no idea I was recording lol. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Squatting behind my piano at the Front Matter release show at the Bishop, and standing backstage at the Buskirk-Chumley both stand out in my mind as Bloomington live music highlights. Since I moved to town I pinpointed those venues as goals. So cool. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm sailing the USS Sanctuary Studio across The Sea in Oakland and not looking back till I reach land. This is obviously a cute, cheeky metaphor that is all for me, but if you're reading this, I'll be hella impressed if you figure it out. Come at me.
