In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad was always playing the guitar and singing when he wasn't at work. My mother sang all the time. So, I feel like I was surrounded by music from the beginning. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Johnny Cash, American Recordings Randy Travis, Storms of Life Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson, Waylon and Willie I remember Waylon and Willie playing all the time at home when I was a child. When Randy Travis hit the music scene with "Storms of Life", I was hooked. Johnny Cash's re-emergence with American Recordings brought me back to all the early Country. Tell us why you chose this song. “Monocacy Mud” I love songs about places, especially when the music puts you in that place. This song is about where I live and grew up. There is something so special about the river and mountain that run through my rural Maryland home.
